The completion of Silkworks and Silvermill created a new residential neighbourhood, comprising around 450 new homes, in the area north of Lewisham station.

Plans for the former car parks next to the Tesco store in Conington Road include construction of three buildings 8, 14 and 34 storeys in height, to provide 367 homes and commercial/community/office and leisure space.
